Blogging Tips Part 1

After several days of deliberation and Google searches about blogging, I decided to turn the open tabs in my browser window, into a real life blog post. Here it is, my first (more or less).

This article’s number one tip is to think of a blog as a list of URL’s you want to save or share. (It also mentions Delicious) Basically, it says to have more links than posts in your blog. I like this and will try to stick to it. With that being said, my delicious bookmark page on blogs is here: http://del.icio.us/jcbrady/blogs.

There are plenty of good links to blog articles here as well as a ton of other links you’ll find useful. Delicious is awesome and I highly recommend you sign up for an account if you don’t already have one. It’s free and very much worth your time. It’s my favorite online bookmarking service because I think it’s one of the simplest to use.

You can also check out http://del.icio.us/ for what is popular on the web, meaning what people are actively bookmarking. It’s a great way to browse the web based on what people are bookmarking.
