I read that article, too, and I found it to be fascinating. As someone who has played around with a personal blog in the past and who is now looking at helping start a small business blog, I am taking that "write 1000 words a day" to heart. Tonight, I wrote a little over 1000 words for the first time. It was more of diary-like. But in spilling out words, I already came up with five possible topics that I can develop for possible future blog posts.

So it really works. The very act of typing gets the mind flowing with ideas. And it didn't even take a hour. Not bad for a first attempt.
